About you and this role

The job of ODMS coordinator within Terneuzen site consist of supporting a department or production plant with the continuous improvement of his management system. The ODMS coordinator is part of a team of 8 colleagues located on Terneuzen site.

The ODMS coordinator coordinates with the plant leader a successful implementation and continuous support of the Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS). Networks with the site ODMS leader, ODMS colleagues from other plants, the business ODMS leader (if any) and subject specialists to optimize the ODMS system within the plant.

In this role, you must be familiar with the scope of the Operating Discipline Management System and the requirements specified therein. Next to that, you must be aware of the work processes associated with these requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Drives the Plan Do Check Act cycle of continuous improvement within the supported department.
  • Coordinates and facilitates the Management System Reviews.
  • Coordinating Self-Assessments. Self-Assessments are carried out by the ODMS Coordinator and Element Focal Points (site/plant).
  • Together with the Plant Leader and ODMS Element Focal Points, evaluate the outcome of the Self-Assessment, define action points, set priorities, and provide input for the MI plan of the Plant / Department.
  • Coordinating the management system review. The management system review is carried out by the ODMS Coordinator, Plant Leader and Element Focal Points. Together with the Plant Leader and ODMS Element Focal Points, evaluate the outcome of the Management System Review, draw up action points, set priorities and provide input for the MI plan (yearly Management improvement plan) of the Plant / Department.
  • May act as ODMS Element Focal Point of one or more ODMS elements.
  • Participation in Audits, where input is requested from the ODMS system.
  • Act as ODMS Implementation Team Leader; together with the Plant Leader selecting team members for the Implementation Team, arranging meetings, taking care of the project planning and status updates.
  • May act as internal auditor as part of the Terneuzen site ODMS Team and as Quality coordinator.
  • Coordinate preparation of external audits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an MBO4 degree.
  • Preferred bachelor's in legal, management or EH&S.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.

Kennis van het Operating Discipline Management System en de hierin aangegeven vereisten is belangrijk. Je dient op de hoogte te zijn van de aan deze vereisten verbonden werkprocessen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Aansturen van de Plan Do Check Act cyclus voor  continue verbetering bij de ondersteunde afdeling(en).
  • Coördineren, organiseren en facaliteren van de Self-Assessments. Uitvoering van de Self-Assessments zal gedaan worden door de ODMS Coördinator en Element Focal Points (site/plant).
  • Samen met de Plant Leader en ODMS Element Focal Points vastleggen wat de uitkomst is van de Self Assessments; actiepunten opstellen, prioriteiten stellen en input geven voor MI plan van de Plant / Afdeling.
  • Coördineren van het management system review. Uitvoering management system review zal gedaan worden door de ODMS Coördinator, Plant Leader en Element Focal Points.
  • Samen met de Plant Leader en ODMS Element Focal Points leg je de uitkomst vast van de Management System Review; actiepunten opstellen, prioriteiten stellen en input geven voor MI plan van de Plant / Afdeling.
  • Mogelijk optreden als ODMS Element Focal Point van één of meer ODMS-elementen.
  • Deelname aan Audits, daar waar input wordt gevraagd uit het ODMS systeem.
  • Optreden als ODMS Implementatie Team Leader; samen met de Plant Leader selecteren van teamleden voor het Implementatie Team, regelen van vergaderingen, zorg dragen voor de projectplanning en status updates.
  • Mogelijk optreden als interne auditor als onderdeel van het Terneuzen site ODMS Team en als Kwaliteit Coördinator.
  • Coördineren van voorbereidingen voor externe audits.

Kwalificaties

  • Minimaal een MBO4 diploma.
  • Bij voorkeur een bachelor juridisch, management of EH&S.
  • Sterke communicatie skills en schrijfvaardigheid.
