The Role and Impact
As a Module Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Intel's lithography and reticle technologies to support groundbreaking semiconductor manufacturing. In this role, you'll manage process optimization across reticle platforms, analyze complex data for yield improvements, and address quality issues through model-based problem solving. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency, reliability, and affordability of semiconductor manufacturing, enabling Intel to maintain its leadership in the industry.
Business Group
Intel Foundry is part of Intel's Manufacturing and Supply Chain group, responsible for high-volume silicon production using world-class manufacturing processes. The Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) site focuses on cutting-edge technology nodes like Intel 18A and beyond. This team's efforts underpin Intel's IDM2.0 strategy by delivering robust reticle solutions to meet the needs of both local and global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvements in reticle process matching, tool health, and defect containment to meet stringent quality standards.
- Conduct data analysis to address reticle performance discrepancies and implement permanent solutions.
- Oversee equipment configuration, monitoring, and recipe matching to ensure alignment with predefined standards.
- Collaborate with virtual factory partners and apply shared learnings to optimize reticle and lithography operations.
- Lead new technology initiatives, including tool installations, conversions, and qualifications, ensuring sigma-matched performance.
- Develop systems to model reticle changes and maintain process health through innovative methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a high-performance team culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, physics, or materials science, with 4+ years of experience in wafer fabrication processes.
- Experience with reticle lithography processes, including advanced data analysis, equipment troubleshooting, and model-based problem solving.
Experience collaborating with vendors and internal engineering teams to resolve quality and performance issues. - Experience with lithography theory and reticle inspection methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active US Government Security Clearance at Secret level or higher.
- Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or a PhD with no prior professional experience.
- Expertise in photolithography reticle equipment, EUV processes, and immersion lithography technologies.
- Experience in manufacturing science, capacity metrics, and defect prevention strategies.
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools such as JMP, SPC, MATLAB, and DOE methodologies.
- Experience in cross-functional team leadership and mentoring.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $103,730.00-198,820.00 USD
