We are currently live with multiple users & projected to 5x by the end of Q2.
Our initial focus is light industrial and clerical staffing, with a broader vision of building workflow intelligence software that can extend across industries.
This is applied AI in a real revenue-generating environment, not experimental software.
🎯 The OpportunityWe are hiring our Founding Software Engineer to help architect, scale, and refine HUB IQ alongside leadership.
This is a 0→1 product role with real ownership.
You will report directly to Ian and Matt and work closely with leadership on architecture decisions, product roadmap, AI integration, and long-term platform scalability.
This is not a ticket-taking role, it is a foundational build seat.
HUB IQ currently includes:
• KPI dashboards at branch and customer levels
• Sales pipeline management
• Worker’s comp claims tracking
• Legal case management
• Finance tools including AR management and excess interest tracking
• AI-powered contract repository with intelligent document synthesis
Our AI layer is already delivering meaningful insights — including profitability analysis revealing that removing three unprofitable clients would increase profit by several hundred thousand dollars.
Additional capabilities include:
• Weekly projections and goal tracking
• Customer risk and volatility analysis
• Profitability modeling across customers and branches
• Built on a vibe coding platform
• Migrated from Supabase to Snowflake for improved cloud compliance
• Multi-tenant system architecture
• SOC 2-aligned security practices
• Data currently stored in Snowflake, with expansion toward in-house NVIDIA-powered AI processing
Security features include:
• Two-factor authentication
• Failed login tracking
• Suspicious activity monitoring
• Session tracking and trusted device management
• Client transparency portal for controlled data access
• Own and evolve full stack architecture
• Build and refine core product features
• Improve UI/UX to reduce clicks and optimize workflow efficiency
• Integrate AI capabilities through strong prompting strategies
• Establish development best practices and security standards
• Support audit readiness and penetration testing efforts
• Collaborate directly with leadership on technical roadmap
• Help define engineering culture and future hiring standards
• Mid-to-senior level full stack engineer
• Strong foundational engineering skills
• Experience building 0→1 products
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and high-ownership environments
• UI/UX awareness focused on efficiency and workflow simplification
• Exposure to data security, audits, or penetration testing is a plus
• Experience integrating AI systems or prompt-based tooling
• GitHub presence preferred but not required
• Flexible mindset toward tech stack (Vibe, Cursor, or traditional coding approaches)
This role is primarily on-site in Newport Beach.
