The APP performs physical assessments/examinations; develops diagnosis; formulates initiates, reinforces plans of care and/or treatments for resolution of the clinical problem(s) or to maintain health. The APP monitors and evaluates the plan of care, and makes revisions as needed, or initiates consultations/referrals when appropriate. The APP has advanced education and professional training, specializing in the care of patients from 12 years of age and older and according to the Dayton Children’s Adult Care policy.
