Job Description

Are you looking to make an impact and be part of building advanced, company wide observability platform? We are seeking experienced Senior Platform Engineer / Technical Leader to join our Intelligent Operations team of Procter & Gamble in Warsaw 

 

This role requires an expertise in desigining, building and operating IT systems at scale. Person will be responsible for driving design decisions, technology choices and establishing best practices for engineering team.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Technical Leadership:Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering team 

  • Design and Architecture: Drive platform architecture and source systems integration patterns. Ensure scalability and performance of system.  

  • Technology Evaluation and Adoption: monitoring industry for new or updated software, executing PoC for new solutions and technologies 

  • Code Development/CICD: providing direction for code development standards and effective CICD process  

  • Work with internal customers to translate their need into requirements and new capabilities. 

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • In-depth understanding of containerized, distributed systems  

  • Experience in designing, building and operating IT systems 

  • Broad IT knowledge allowing to drive decisions and solve problems (networking, cloud, containers, programming/scripting) 

  • Experience with running workloads in Kubernetes on scale 

  • Experience with Cloud (preferred Azure) – from design through deployment to operate? 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with deploying infrastructure via Terraform  

  • Experience in Monitoring and Observability space (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Vector and more)  

  • Scripting/programming skills
