To support our long-term strategy, Kramp is delivering a multi-year business and technology transformation program. This includes replacing legacy ERP systems with modern, cloud-based platforms across core processes such as Finance, Procure-to-Stock, and Order-to-Deliver. High-quality, predictable delivery is critical to the success of this transformation. In this program we work with a Systems Integrator, multiple other external parties, internal product teams, technical teams and business people.

For a successful program we need to ensure that all elements on program delivery are covered and maintained at a sufficient quality level.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Observability Lead to drive the strategy, design, and implementation of our new observability platform. This role will lead the workstream on a daily basis, coordinating across teams, guiding tool selection, and ensuring successful integration across enterprise platforms and hybrid environments.

What will you do?

• Lead the observability workstream end‑to‑end, from strategy through implementation and adoption.

• Own the evaluation, selection, and rollout of the enterprise observability platform.

• Design and implement integrations across cloud and on‑premise environments.

• Define and promote best practices for logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, and event correlation.

• Establish cost‑efficient ingestion, storage, and operational models to optimise performance and scalability.

• Provide clear communication and reporting to Directors, VPs, and senior stakeholders.

• Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to teams.

• Drive documentation, enablement, and change management to ensure adoption across the organisation.

Who are you ?

• 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross‑functional IT initiatives, including observability or monitoring transformations.

• Strong IT background in Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or Engineering.

• Proven experience integrating platforms in enterprise environments, including hybrid and multi‑cloud setups.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including working with senior leadership.

• Hands‑on, pragmatic, collaborative, and able to work both strategically and operationally.
