Engineering services: Comprehensive design, engineering, and validation capabilities for complete vehicle development projects: CAD, CAE and testing of all major vehicle functionalities. Proving grounds: The most comprehensive proving grounds in Europe and Asia, located in Spain and China. Both test tracks offer excellent customer support and facilities that provide the highest standards of safety and confidentiality. Homologation services in accordance with all European EC and ECE Regulations. We are also accredited for Australia, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and give consultancy to other countries and regions such as South America (including Brazil), China, Middle East, Gulf Countries, ASEAN, USA and Canada, among others.
Main responsibilities:
- Test plan/time plan definition for testing
- Risk assessment definition for automotive testing
- Test execution as per ISO and International testing standards for vehicle dynamics & brakes
- Ability to perform tests independently as expert test driver for dynamics & brakes
- Vehicle instrumentation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Preparation of brackets, adapters and rigs as required for testing
- Instrument management including calibration know-how
- Objective data analysis of test data
Requirements:
- Minimum testing experience of 3 years from either OEM or Tier1 background
- Experience with executing ISO and International test procedures on proving grounds & test tracks in India for vehicle dynamics & brakes
- Valid driving license with suitable experience as a test driver in automotive testing for vehicle dynamics & brakes
- Any certifications for advanced driver training internationally/locally or past racing experience is an added advantage.
- Experience working with instrumentation, troubleshooting and calibration of equipment like accelerometers, steering wheel sensors, RT, height sensors, LVDT, laser height sensors, strain gauges, thermo couples, rpm sensors and DAQ systems, etc for the purpose of automotive objective testing.
- Practical hands on experience with automotive and workshop processes is a must
- Knowledge of any data analysis software’s is an added advantage
- Good communication skills in an international environment
- Compulsory sound knowledge on automotive engineering and vehicle dynamics
- Positive Attitude, pro-activeness, self motivated and an excellent team player
- Available for frequent/short notice travelling around India or Internationally when required.
- Available to be re-located in any location in India or Internationally as required.
- Easy adaptation to the all kinds of rough outdoor, field & indoor testing work environments.
Experience:
- minimum of 3 years from either OEM or Tier1 background for vehicle dynamics & brakes testing
Qualifications
Minimum requirement diploma or B.E Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics
