The Propulsion Systems OBD team is dedicated to its mission, “Delivering Global Propulsion System OBD Requirements for Stellantis Integration - with flawless Execution!” The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with experts around the world, interpreting OBD regulations and creating engineering requirements for Stellantis software, controls, and calibration teams. We are looking for talented and self-driven experts that will exceed customers’ expectations while inventing, orchestrating, and delivering simplified processes and solutions for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing thorough and complete methods to deliver OBD technical requirements to all Stellantis internal customers
- Ensure that processes and templates used by the team are applied to produce Customer approved OBD work-products
- Communicate with teams that support Propulsion Systems OBD (PSO) and its customers
- Verify good continuity and consistency between the activities of the OBD Technical Fellows, Technical Safety & Regulatory Committee (TSRC) and the activities within PSO
- Ensure the on-time delivery of the OBD requirements to customers
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Software or Controls Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Proficient using DOORS Next (IBM DNG), IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), MathWorks MATLAB and Simulink/Stateflow
- Understanding of the goals of On-Board Diagnostics
- Functional understanding controls, software and CAN communication
- Basic proficiency with the major components and functions of an electrified propulsion system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen
- Self-motivated/proactive with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database applications
Preferred Requirements
- Masters of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience presenting to, and communicating directly with Government regulatory agencies
- Previous Stellantis Propulsion Systems experience
- Experience designing and implementing new diagnostics
- 8 years' experience in OBD requirements, controls, testing, validation, or calibration within the electric, gasoline or diesel industry
- INCA, MathWorks MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Minitab, C++ and Visual Basic experience
