Corporate Finance is organised through global products and regional client coverage spanning different geographies and industry focused teams. The Investment Banking Coverage team is looking to add an Associate to their team. They are seeking candidates with initiative and integrity, strong communication skills, commitment, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Leveraged Finance and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions and in the day to day coverage of French clients and target clients.
• Supporting senior bankers in the coverage effort of key accounts.
• Conduct sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling.
• Engaging with clients, other advisers and senior investment bankers in both origination and execution projects.
• Taking an active and productive role in live projects and developing an understanding of our clients’ businesses.

Skills

• Relevant Corporate Finance experience supporting the origination and execution of transactions (at least 4-5 years experience in the field).
• Represents an understanding complex deals with structuring capabilities across M&A, Leverage Finance and Equity Capital Markets.
• Solid understanding/deal experience within the France Corporate Finance environment  preferred
• Strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills.
• Creative problem solving abilities.
