Role Summary
Senior expert role focused on o9 IBP platform configuration, planning engine design, and integration across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OE, STD, and TLB modules. Responsible for full lifecycle implementations, service management, and enabling Mondelēz's global planning processes through best-in-class o9 solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Configuration (IBP, S&OE, STD, TLB Modules)
• Configure o9 Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, SOE, STD, and TLB workflows aligned with Mondelēz's global processes
• Design Attribute-Based Hierarchies, Time Bucket Profiles, and Aggregation/Disaggregation Rules for multi-level planning (SKU, plant, region)
• Develop custom planning logic using o9's planning engines (heuristics, time-series forecasting) and scripting tools (Python, R)
2. Enhancements & CI Initiatives
• Requirements gathering workshops for o9 modules (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Allocation, Replenishment, S&OP, IBP)
• Fit-gap analysis, BRDs/FRDs, user stories, UAT, and collaboration with development teams
• Design, configure, and test o9 solutions; support integrations with SAP S/4HANA via CI-DS, EDI, IDocs
3. o9 Data Model & Planning Engine Design
• Build master data structures (products, locations, customers) and key figures (demand signals, capacity constraints)
• Optimize pegging rules, supply allocation strategies, and exception management workflows for real-time S&OE adjustments
• Configure Scenario Manager for what-if analysis (demand spikes, supply disruptions)
4. Integration & Data Requirements
• Design data pipelines using Talend, Kafka, or REST APIs to sync o9 with SAP ECC, APO, BPC, and external market data sources
• Validate data quality via o9 Loader; troubleshoot integration errors with IT teams
5. Scenario Management & Analytics
• Develop interactive dashboards using o9's KPI Engine (forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turnover)
• Configure exception alerts for stockouts, excess inventory, and production bottlenecks
6. Testing, Validation & Support
• Execute unit, integration, and UAT testing for o9 configurations
• Resolve post-go-live issues via ServiceNow (Level 2/3 support for planners)
7. Service Management
• Ensure SLA compliance, root cause analysis, change/release management adherence
• Weekly/monthly stakeholder reviews; escalation management; continuous improvement planning
• Support transition to new major releases/rollouts; out-of-hours support during critical incidents
• Monitor OLA agreements; own transformation initiatives for AMEA region
8. Documentation & Training
• Create technical playbooks (data mappings, calculation logic, user permissions)
• Train regional planners on o9 Tag UI, Workflow Designer, and Scenario Manager

Education
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience
• 5-7+ years configuring o9 IBP/S&OE modules (Demand 360, Supply 360) in CPG/FMCG industries
• Hands-on experience with IBP, SOE, STD, TLB, and Segmentation modules
• 2+ full lifecycle implementations of o9 or SAP IBP, including data migration and cutover planning
Technical Skills
• o9 Platform: Modeler, Workflow Designer, Data Ingestion, KPI Engine, Scenario Manager
• Integration Tools: Snowflake, Talend, Kafka, REST APIs, SAP CPI, Oracle OIC
