We are currently looking for an O&M Performance Engineer with experience in utility-scale renewable assets to support the technical and operational optimization of our international portfolio of photovoltaic and wind power plants.

What will you help with?

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of utility-scale renewable assets, ensuring maximum availability, reliability and energy yield
  • Track and evaluate key operational KPIs such as Performance Ratio (PR), Availability, Specific Yield, Curtailment, MTTR and MTBF.
  • Identify production deviations and underperformance through SCADA data analysis monitoring platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis of incidents, failures and energy losses, proposing corrective and preventive actions to improve plant performance.
  • Perform energy loss analysis, irradiance validation and data quality assessments to ensure accurate performance evaluation
  • Coordinate with local O&M teams, Asset Management and external contractors to improve plant performance and reliability.
  • Support the implementation of operational optimization initiatives including inverter settings, tracker optimization, tracker optimisation,cleaning strategies and preventive maintenance improvements.
  • Review O&M contractor performance and compliance with SLAs, warranties and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare technical reports and monthly performance presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of operational budgets, forecasts and performance benchmarking across the portfolio.
  • Support technical discussions related to performance guarantees, warranty claims and contractual KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Construction and Development teams during plant commissioning, testing and handover phases.
  • Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of O&M processes, tools and reporting systems.
    Support digitalisation and data analytics initiatives focused on operational efficiency and predictive performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximise plant profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Own performance analysis and support data-driven operational decision making across the portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with H&S standards, operational procedures and quality standards across all assets.

Who you are

  • Engineering degree in Industrial, Electrical or similar. Valuable Master in Renewable Energy.
  • At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy operations, performance engineering, technical asset management or O&M.
  • Experience with data analytics, automation and digital performance tools is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of utility-scale photovoltaic plants; experience with BESS and wind assets is a plus.
  • Experience working with SCADA systems and renewable energy monitoring platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience analysing operational KPIs and energy losses.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python or Power BI for operational data analysis and reporting automation
  • Full command of English.
  • Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI, SQL or Python is highly valued.
