This is a senior market ownership role with responsibility for existing revenue, customer growth and new business across the full Azeus governance technology portfolio, including Convene Board Portal, Convene Assure, ConveneAGM and other governance solutions.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, managing existing customer relationships, driving retention and expansion, and building a strong pipeline of new business across government, financial services, healthcare, education, not-for-profit, listed companies, associations and other organizations with governance requirements.

You will work closely with customers and senior stakeholders including CEOs, Board members, Company Secretaries, governance professionals, CFOs, CIOs and senior executives, positioning Azeus solutions as technology that helps organizations improve governance, board effectiveness, collaboration and decision-making.

The role will be based in New Zealand and will involve regular travel across New Zealand and the Pacific, including Fiji, PNG and the Micronesian Islands, as well as occasional travel to Australia and other locations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the New Zealand and Pacific market, including Fiji, PNG and the Micronesian Islands.
  • Take full commercial ownership of the region's existing revenue, renewals, account growth and new business.
  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy and annual growth plan.
  • Manage and grow the existing customer base, identifying opportunities for retention, upselling, cross-selling and expansion.
  • Build and maintain a strong and qualified new business pipeline across target industries and sectors.
  • Identify, qualify and pursue new opportunities from prospecting through to contract execution.
  • Develop relationships with senior decision-makers, including CEOs, Board members, Company Secretaries, CIOs, CFOs and governance professionals.
  • Identify organizations with governance, board management, AGM, board evaluation and related technology requirements.
  • Lead sales presentations, demonstrations, proposals, tenders and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop account plans for strategic customers and high-value prospects.
  • Develop strong relationships with implementation, product, marketing and global sales teams to support regional growth.
  • Build strategic relationships with industry associations, partners, consultants and other relevant organizations to generate opportunities and referrals.
  • Represent Azeus and its governance technology solutions at conferences, industry events, customer meetings and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of pipeline, opportunities, forecasts and customer information within the CRM.
  • Provide regular reporting on revenue performance, pipeline, forecast, market activity and strategic opportunities.
  • Identify emerging markets, sectors and opportunities for expansion across the Pacific.
  • Travel regularly throughout New Zealand and the Pacific, including Fiji, PNG and the Micronesian Islands.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience selling technology or SaaS solutions to senior stakeholders and complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, procurement processes and commercial negotiations.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through to close.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and highly self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently.
  • Strong CRM experience and disciplined approach to pipeline and forecasting.
  • Experience working across multiple markets or regions is highly desirable.
  • Experience selling into government, financial services, healthcare, education, listed companies or not-for-profit organizations is advantageous.
