Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support to the sales team and customers throughout the sales process, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and how our solutions can address them.
  • Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements, highlighting the capabilities and benefits of Siemens NX CAM.
  • Help customers develop and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM software, implementing best practices for toolpath generation and machining strategies.
  • Address and resolve issues related to CAM programming and machining processes.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions for customers and internal teams, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Draft detailed proposals and accurately estimate the time and resources required for project completion, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and project goals.
  • Write detailed reports, communicate results, address issues, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Siemens NX CAM software.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and toolpath generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and provide exceptional customer support, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Deep understanding of design and manufacturing processes, enabling effective communication and problem-solving with customers and internal teams.
  • Expertise in Siemens NX CAM 3 and 5 axis.
  • Extensive knowledge of CAD/CAM software, facilitating effective communication with customers and internal teams regarding design and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with customers, team members, and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in solving problems within a manufacturing plant setting, demonstrating practical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Work NC experience would be a plus.
  • 3 and 5-axis post-processor development experience would be a fantastic plus.
  • Familiarity with other Siemens products such as NX, Teamcenter, and Tecnomatix (Process Designer, Process Simulate, Plant Simulation, and VSA) enhances the ability to provide expert support and solutions.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Knowledge of discrete event simulation techniques, enabling effective analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of robotic systems and automation, facilitating effective integration and support of advanced manufacturing technologies.
