About this opportunity:
The NWS Service Orchestration team focuses on designing, developing and operating highly automated, data-driven service orchestration platforms (such as Hydra and eStart) that provide resilient, on-demand network and storage services for global test and development environments. Together with other Lab Operations units, it empowers a sustainable R&D ecosystem through innovative services, automation and orchestration of lab workflows.
BNEW RCE LO NWS Service Orchestration unit is now looking for a few AI DevSecOps Engineers to join our dynamic team in Linköping.
You will join a newly established team in Linköping supporting the Sferical installation through data center hosting, network operations, and operational support. The role focuses on ensuring stable and reliable services as the environment grows.
Join a new team supporting one of Ericsson's key AI initiatives and gain hands-on experience in data center infrastructure, operations, security, and automation. The role offers opportunities to grow within AI infrastructure and operations as the environment continues to expand.
What you will do:- Operate and enhance AI infrastructure services supporting the Sferical platform and its tenants.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across data center, network, and platform layers to ensure high availability and reliability.- Implement and improve automation for deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows (CI/CD, infrastructure as code).- Collaborate closely with AI platform, security, and network teams to design secure, scalable solutions.- Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security into the full lifecycle of AI infrastructure and services.- Contribute to observability, logging, and monitoring solutions to enable data-driven operations and proactive incident prevention.- Participate in on-call / operational support routines and drive continuous improvement of runbooks and operational processes.- Support the evolution of Hydra, eStart and related orchestration platforms, ensuring they remain robust, secure, and fit for purpose.
The skills you bring:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.- Experience in data center infrastructure operations (servers, storage, virtualization or container platforms).- Knowledge of network operations (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, load balancing) in production environments.- Hands-on experience with DevOps / DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and integrating security controls into delivery workflows.- Practical experience with automation and scripting (for example Python, Bash, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code tools.- Familiarity with observability tools (monitoring, logging, alerting) and incident management processes.- Understanding of security principles for infrastructure and platforms (identity and access management, hardening, patching).- Experience providing production support for critical services, including incident handling and root cause analysis.- Strong collaboration skills, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn and improve continuously.- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
