POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the safe and effective management of patient care.
  • Coordinates patient care activities across all units/departments for a designated shift.
  • Acts as senior administrator on duty for patient care areas and other departments.
  • Serves as clinical expert for patients, families, staff and other departments. Rounds on every unit as often as needed during designated shift.
  • Assists in the orientation of staff, monitors patient care, and makes direct observations of the outcomes of care.

 

SCHEDULE:

  • 24 hours, 11pm-7a
  • Location: Baystate Noble Hospital

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
  • Education: Diploma in Nursing

Associates of Science: Nursing (Required), Bachelors Degree in Nursing

Certifications:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Other, Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

$52.01 - $59.78 - $70.72
