About the Role
At Estia Health our Nursing Assistants provide Person Centred Care. The way that we provide nutrition and hydration in our homes is evolving to align with this framework. We are moving to a more traditional model that has ‘front of house’ and ‘back of house’ team members.
In this role, you will help residents with their meals and drinks, following Estia Health’s personalised meal service guidelines, ensuring all residents receive the correct dietary requirements according to their individual requirements and choices.
You will also:
- Assist with feeding as required
- Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, are comfortable and well-fed.
- Work with our team to assist those residents who require additional support and care.
- Help our residents to enjoy meaningful and engaging activities.
- Be a supportive friend to our residents.
- Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected.
You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with a real desire to make a difference in people’s lives and you will have a Cert lll or IV in Aged Care
