RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Aids physicians and nursing staff members as needed 
  • Assists with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures in accordance with his/her level of training
  • Performs EKGs
  • Obtains patient history
  • Monitors vital signs
  • Obtains non-invasive body fluid specimens
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program or comparable program. 
  •  Experience working in a physician office, clinic or ambulatory health care center. 
  • Must be CPR certified.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
