How you will make an impact: 

  • As a Nursing Administrative Assistant/Staffer, you will provide professional and efficient clerical support to the Epiphany Assisted Living Nursing Department, resulting in the delivery of excellent internal and external customer service.
  • You will handle all aspects of scheduling and staffing for home health aides and monitor attendance and overtime. This includes 24/7 on-call support for staffing needs.
  • The Nursing Administrative Assistant/Staffer will monitor and manage agency staffing coverage, scheduling, onboarding, and duties.
  •  You will also monitor the accuracy of employee time clock hours and assist with payroll for the department.       
  • Some of the other Essential Functions of the Nursing Administrative Assistant/Staffer include: Participating in billing of services and following up with residents or families regarding billing questions. Completing department interviews, hiring, and onboarding education and documentation of new staff. Maintaining department staff files and managing competency testing, supervisory visits, and other monthly or annual education requirements. Completing annual employee reviews for Home Health Aides.
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm and may vary.
What you will need: 
  • Three or more years of nursing office/clerical/staffing experience preferred. One year in a similar role required. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.   
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software and familiar with scheduling/staffing software. 
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently. 
  • Must have the ability to work in a setting with multiple interruptions and be able to function independently and on a team. 
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and be on-call for staffing needs.

Skills Required

  • At least one year of experience in a similar nursing office, clerical, or staffing role
  • Three or more years of nursing office, clerical, or staffing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Familiarity with scheduling and staffing software
  • Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team amid frequent interruptions
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call staffing support
