Bachman’s Nursery Wholesale has an opening for a Nursery Yard Worker on our Outside Sales Support team member who has strong organizational skills, and is knowledgeable with perennial plant materials.

POSITION DUTIES:
- Provide on-site customer service to customers including but not limited to pulling product, reserving product for future orders, loading product, and giving directions.
- Monitor plant quality as orders are filled.
- Assist in other areas as needed in order to meet deadlines.
- Be a partner on managing, organizing, and communicating customer needs to personnel across the company.
- Provide customer service and direction to on-site customers, vendors, and other traffic when necessary to ensure a positive experience for staff and customers alike.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good working knowledge of landscape plant materials required. Basic knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals
- Good communication and customer service skills required.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
- Very detailed oriented.
- Ability to problem solve/ troubleshoot.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment.
- Interest in product and desire to learn more.
- Ability to work predominantly outside in all weather conditions
- A Motor Vehicle Record check will be conducted on all final candidates

SCHEDULE:
Peak: Late April - Early July, Non-Peak: July-September
Shifts between 7am-5pm Monday-Friday, Saturdays 7am-12pm.
Flexibility needed depending on business needs.
COMPENSATION: $18.00/hour
