Job DescriptionGeneral Characteristics
- Responsible for CONTROLLING and SUPERVISING medical facility / equipment such as site clinic with medical equipment, essential medicines and first aid kits etc.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide emergency services to employees who become ill or suffer an injury
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved project treatment protocols
- Maintain medical records of employees treated, including case histories and health examination reports
- Assist in planning health education programs and in providing information to employees
- Conduct occupational health screens as approved in scope of practice and per standard operating procedures.
- Execute all other medical duties as assigned by the project medical services Staff
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in nursing
Experience
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Nursing
Knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge on overall nursing
Technical Competency
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
- Ability to provide emergency medical care and treatment in accordance with approved project treatment protocols
- Knowledge of medical equipment, supplies, and medications commonly used in an industrial medical setting
- Ability to maintain medical records of employees treated, including case histories and health examination reports
- Ability to conduct occupational health screens in accordance with approved protocols and standard operating procedures
- Understanding of infectious disease prevention and control measures
- Familiarity with telemedicine and remote medical consultation practices
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR protocols
