Job Description

As the Nurse Unit Manager (Scrub/Scout) for the Operating Theatres, you will provide strategic leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care throughout the perioperative and postoperative stages.

The Nurse Unit Manager role requires clinical aptitude, dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable your nursing team to thrive.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting. You will hold a genuine passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values.

Position Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3-5 years of current perioperative nursing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams with a proven ability to drive operational efficiency and foster a culture of excellence
  • Experience managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to engage, influence and collaborate effectively with diverse alignment of objectives
  • Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded

  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
