Why Join Eddy Village Green?
A Green House® Model Community
Our two ranch-style homes promote autonomy, dignity, and relationship-based care. Each home includes private rooms, private baths, and a family-style kitchen and living/dining area. This model empowers elders to maintain their routines and supports meaningful connections between nurses, C.N.A.s, and residents.
What Makes the Green House® Model Different
Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck is part of a culture-changing approach in long-term care:
- Home, Not Facility:
Each ranch-style home includes private bedrooms/bathrooms, a family-style kitchen, and a shared living/dining area, creating a warm, residential environment rather than a traditional nursing unit. - Empowered Care Teams:
Nurses and C.N.A.s work in a collaborative, flattened hierarchy. C.N.A.s (Shahbazim in Green House language) take on expanded roles in daily life, and nurses serve as mentors, clinical guides, and partners. - Relationship-Based Care:
Small home size allows staff to form deeper, more individualized relationships with residents, supporting emotional well‑being and reducing burnout. - Better Outcomes:
Green House communities are known nationally for higher resident satisfaction, improved quality metrics, and increased staff engagement.
