Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Qualifications:
At least Two (2) years of nursing knowledge and experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role in a hospital environment
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Active
Current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
AHA Basic Life Support
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Understanding of patient classification and staffing requirements for the patient population
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Previous Pediatric Experience or Pediatric Class within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Active
Current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
AHA Basic Life Support
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Understanding of patient classification and staffing requirements for the patient population
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Previous Pediatric Experience or Pediatric Class within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:

Skills Required
- Minimum two years of nursing experience with at least one year in a hospital leadership role
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Understanding of patient classification and staffing requirements
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Previous pediatric experience or completion of a pediatric class within six months of hire
- At least two years of unit-specific knowledge and experience
- At least two years of progressive management experience in a hospital
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or related field
- Certified Nurse Manager Leader (CNML) or specialty certification
