About the opportunity:

Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about supporting older and vulnerable people? We are seeking a dedicated Nurse in Charge to provide clinical leadership and deliver exceptional resident-focused care within our residential aged care service.

In this role, you will work closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator, Service Manager, and multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of clinical care. You will also provide operational leadership in the absence of the Service Manager and contribute to a positive, collaborative care environment.


  • Provide high-quality, resident-focused clinical care using a person-centred approach.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and care staff.
  • Oversee clinical operations and provide leadership in the absence of the Service Manager.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct assessments, care planning, treatment, and documentation to the highest standard.
  • Promote continuous improvement and ensure compliance with aged care standards and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with community agencies and healthcare professionals to achieve positive resident outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience in Residential Aged Care.
  • Experience leading and supervising clinical teams.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:


  • Recognised tertiary qualification and current Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration. 
  • Demonstrated record of achievement and experience working in Residential Aged Care. 
  • Valid Police check
