QualificationsWhat You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR
- currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR
- Foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR
- Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR
- At least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
- Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification preferred.
Skills Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or Patient Assistant Technician program
- Currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing, as an alternative qualification
