The role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing routine procurement support activities in Korea in alignment with procurement strategies defined by NSEP.
This role ensures effective execution of procurement-related processes, facilitates communication between NSEP and local stakeholders, and supports operational efficiency without decision-making authority over supplier selection, pricing, or contract terms.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate implementation of procurement activities in Korea based on NSEP-defined strategies and guidelines
- Oversee operational procurement processes (PO processing, delivery tracking, receiving coordination) to ensure alignment with NSEP instructions
- Facilitate communication between NSEP and local vendors to support execution of procurement activities
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, service) and provide reports and insights to NSEP for decision-making
- Coordinate supplier onboarding and transition activities by supporting documentation and process alignment under NSEP direction
- Support NSEP-led sourcing and contracting processes by preparing data, documentation, and local market input
- Coordinate resolution of supplier and product quality issues and escalate key matters to NSEP for decision-making
- Collaborate with QA, SCM, Finance, and other stakeholders to support operational alignment and issue resolution
- Ensure procurement activities are performed in compliance with internal policies and procedures, escalate exceptions to NSEP
- Lead and coach team members performing routine support activities to ensure consistent execution and compliance
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Bonus points for:
Experiecne in local sourcing or managing suppliers
Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP procurement modules
Experience in quality issue management and risk mitigation
Profciency in English communication
