Here’s the Gist:
You will lead a team responsible for aiding in the development and characterization of new Power products and technologies with a goal of delivering manufacturable products and processes in the Mohawk Valley Fab. The team will work closely with R&D to perform process windowing using DOE, conduct gage R&Rs, evaluate and characterize new tool/metro platforms, validate specs, assess new process Cpk, and compile a process manual for each new technology.  The team will work closely with integration to understand any new process interactions.

The Day-to-Day

  • Manage NPTI team that provides new and existing tool development, process development, and metrology setup for new products and new technologies.
  • Engage with the Sustaining Process Engineering team early to enable Manufacturing success by ensuring knowledge is shared and process knobs are understood.
  • Participate in all NPI/NTI gate reviews.  In the early phases, highlight areas of concern from a Fab manufacturability standpoint.  In the later phases, summarize performance against design specs to ensure each new process/technology is ready for HVM.
  • Provide roadmap for any new Fab processes not meeting manufacturing targets.
  • Build process for handoff between development and production to ensure all items required for HVM are ready: SPC, MSA, specs, training, new tool PMs/consumables, automation, etc.
