The MV RAN Optimization Specialist is responsible for end-to-end performance optimization of 4G/5G networks (Ericsson OEM) within a Managed Services environment. The role focuses on KPI governance, advanced RAN analysis, feature optimization, customer experience improvement, and driving strategic performance initiatives across clusters, regions, and nationwide networks. The engineer provides technical leadership, engages with customers and OEMs, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver sustained network performance improvements.
Responsibilities• Own and drive network-wide KPI performance, monitoring, and optimization.
• Perform advanced analysis of KPIs, counters, parameters, and RAN features across multi-vendor networks.
• Identify chronic performance issues, conduct RCA, and implement long-term optimization solutions.
• Lead feature evaluation, trials, and optimization activities (e.g., Mobility, Load Balancing, MIMO, CA, VoLTE, 5G).
• Collaborate with Customer, OEM, NOC, Core, Transport, and Field teams to resolve complex performance issues.
• Recommend network enhancement actions related to coverage, capacity, spectrum, and mobility optimization.
• Support automation, analytics, and AI/ML-driven optimization initiatives.
• Present performance insights, RCA findings, and optimization recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
You Have:
- B.Tech/B.E/M.E/M.Tech with 12+ years of experience in LTE, 5G NR (NSA/SA), VoLTE, and Ericsson RAN optimization.
- Hands-on experience with OSS tools, KPIs, counters, parameters, and trace analysis.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in mobility, coverage, interference, and capacity optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset with effective stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
- Experience in automation, analytics, and data-driven optimization approaches.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to Ericsson OEM ecosystem and familiarity with AI/ML-based optimization or analytics platforms.
- Experience leading optimization programs and managing customer engagements.
