Logitech NPI Operations Manager (NOM)Role OverviewThe New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Manager oversees cross-functional preparation, operational execution, and the seamless transition of new products from project kick-off to market launch. This role ensures timely product launches by meeting deliverable targets while balancing cost efficiency, scalability, and production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an NPI Operations Manager, your key responsibilities include:Cross-Functional Coordination & Project Management- Lead end-to-end NPI projects to ensure product launch readiness across capacity, material availability, production scaling, manufacturing diversification, and risk mitigation.
- Represent Operations within the cross-functional team, including Business Group, Engineering, Software, Design, etc., to drive collaboration and alignment while ensuring successful project delivery across Logitech.
- Drive accountability by monitoring progress, analyzing challenges related to cost, schedule, and experience, assessing their impact on project delivery, implementing mitigations for identified risks, and providing clear and consistent reporting of NPI project status.
- Ensure the key NPI launch processes are continuously improved, adhered to across stakeholders, and documented in Logitech’s NPI Playbook.
- Oversee critical Operations deliverables while analyzing inputs from other teams to ensure alignment; then communicate and collaborate on the necessary information within the Global Operations organization.
- Ensure the Product Launch Center (PLC) app is kept up to date with accurate, timely NPI project data.
- Administer and enhance the NPI launch process to ensure the delivery of key NPI KPIs and operational excellence in Logitech’s NPI Playbook.
- Support PIPO for all new NPI to ensure optimal NPI launch performance in the first 24 months after product launch.
- Continuous Improvement & Post-Launch Analysis
- Champion the adoption of best practices in NPI and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Adapt to new tools, methodologies, and processes to foster innovation, streamline operations, and enhance scalability for future NPI launches.
- Facilitate NPI PCR (Post Completion Report) reviews to capture lessons learned and integrate findings into future project processes.
- Manage improvement and process-enhancement projects, including documentation and training to enable scalability.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in NPI, program management, manufacturing, demand/supply planning, or supply chain—preferably in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Key Skills:
- Strong analytics, quantitative reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in manufacturing processes from prototype to end-of-life.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and product lifecycle management.
