Job Summary

We are seeking an NPI, Process Engineer who will be based in Hollis NH at FARM and will be in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Recognize manufacturing processes, technologies, techniques, and products.
  • Define, implement, and evaluate designs and processes for manufacturability.
  • Identify root causes of manufacturing failures, individually or with stakeholders.
  • Participate in daily production activities and solve issues effectively.
  • Oversee new process equipment production and manage engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
  • Develop and own process control methodologies; troubleshoot related issues.
  • Evaluate and select engineered materials.
  • Conduct statistical process research on new and existing products.
  • Implement safety and productivity improvements.
  • Continuously develop manufacturing techniques to enhance in-house capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Review processing methods and interface with production on new process implementation and transfer.

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM/A)
  • Experience transferring products from R&D to Manufacturing.
  • Typically requires 4 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
