The NPI Global Product Business Owner is accountable for the end-to-end success, growth, adoption, and operational scalability of the NIQ Product Insights (NPI) solution globally. 

Acting as the primary Product representative for NPI, this role drives solution strategy, business outcomes and drives executive alignment across Product, Commercial, Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering teams. 

The Business Owner is responsible for translating business objectives and customer needs into clear solution priorities, orchestrating delivery across contributing teams, and ensuring NPI continues to evolve as a scalable, globally adopted product offering. 

While Product Managers and Product Owners remain accountable for domain strategy and execution within their respective areas, this role partners with regional and functional leaders to ensure prioritization, adoption, and execution is consistently applied across multiple markets.

Job Description

Solution Ownership 

  • Own the overall success and performance of the NPI solution globally. 

  • Act as the primary Product point of contact for NPI across the organization. 

  • Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to Product / Business leadership in relation to the NPI solution. 

  • Establish NPI solution priorities across contributing Product domains. 

  • Facilitate and resolve cross-functional priority conflicts impacting NPI. 

  • Maintain a holistic view of the solution, ensuring alignment across roadmap, delivery, commercial adoption, and operational processes. 

  • Define solution success criteria, readiness requirements, and operating metrics. 

Stakeholder Leadership 

  • Build strong relationships across Commercial, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data teams. 

  • Align global, regional and functional priorities to ensure consistent execution of NPI objectives. 

  • Establish governance forums / operating cadences that drive decision making, accountability, and transparency across regions and functions. 

  • Facilitate alignment between stakeholder groups with competing priorities. 

  • Represent Product in solution-level discussions and decision making. 

  • Act as an escalation point for cross-functional issues impacting NPI success. 

Commercial and Customer Alignment 

  • Partner with Commercial and Customer Success teams to understand market needs, customer feedback, and adoption challenges. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, customer retention, and solution value. 

  • Translate business and customer requirements into clear priorities for Product teams. 

Strategic Execution 

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure roadmap priorities support agreed business outcomes. 

  • Coordinate execution across multiple contributing teams from multiple regions globally 

  • Identify dependencies, risks, and gaps impacting solution success. 

  • Drive accountability for delivery against strategic objectives. 

Growth and Scale 

  • Support go-to-market readiness and market expansion activities. 

  • Establish governance processes and operational frameworks required for sustainable growth. 

  • Ensure the successful transition of capabilities from initiative stage into scalable business-as-usual operations. 

  • Drive continuous improvement of the solution and associated processes. 

  • Assess future expansion opportunities and present recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

Required 

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Program Leadership, Customer Solutions, Commercial Strategy, or related disciplines. 

  • Proven experience working across Product, Commercial, Customer Success, and Engineering teams. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. 

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and Agile delivery methodologies. 

  • Experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple teams and dependencies. 

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred 

  • Experience with product content, product intelligence, analytics, or data-driven solutions. 

  • Experience scaling products or solutions across multiple markets. 

  • Experience supporting commercial growth and customer adoption initiatives.

Additional Information

Salary: 66400– €116.000 gross per year.  This role might also be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency.
