Job Summary
The NPI Engineer will lead transitioning of new products to manufacturing; he will collaborate with cross functional team to develop a high-volume manufacturing/testing process flow for new SiTime products. The NPI engineer will facilitate early customer sampling as well as low volume (LVM) manufacturing data review and initial FACA. He works cross functionally to bring up OSAT and make sure smooth transition to Operation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross functionally to document all manufacturing and test procedures
- Work with OPS team to bring up OSAT, document all procedures, and confirm capacity
- Work with PE and TE team to develop final test processes that are executable in high volume
- Review manufacturing test and packaging data, perform process capability analysis, and highlight any issues, outliers
- Perform initial FA on the failures, and highlight them to cross functional team for review
- Work closely with factory to evaluate the line performance and the report the daily production capacity during LVM
- Work with Packaging, PE, and IE to develop template for RTP documentation requirements.

Desired Characteristics & Attributes:
- Minimum bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Familiar with high volume manufacturing and high-volume data processing.
- Familiarity with Qual (reliability) and ORT (On-going Reliability Test) of semiconductor industry
- Familiar with ATE testing, capacity calculation and planning
- Knowledge of MEMS and semiconductor manufacturing and packaging is a big plus
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in operations or development in semiconductor industry.
