Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced L3 Forcepoint Proxy & DLP Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support Forcepoint web proxy and data loss prevention solutions. The role requires deep troubleshooting expertise, policy design skills, and the ability to lead complex security incidents. Secondary responsibilities may include support for related security platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead L3 support for Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway (Proxy) and Forcepoint DLP environments
Design, implement, and fine-tune web proxy policies, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and access controls
Design, deploy, and manage DLP policies for data at rest, data in motion, and data in use
Perform advanced troubleshooting for proxy and DLP issues, including performance, policy conflicts, and false positives
Manage Forcepoint upgrades, patches, deployments, and migrations
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent remediation for incidents
Support incident response related to data exfiltration, malware, or policy violations
Work closely with SOC during security events
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles
Provide guidance and escalation support to L1/L2 teams
Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments
Mandatory Technical Skills
Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway (Proxy) – Advanced administration and troubleshooting
Forcepoint DLP – Policy creation, fingerprinting, endpoint/network DLP, incident workflows
Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, authentication methods (NTLM, Kerberos, SAML)
Experience with data classification, compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.)
Proxy deployment models (on-prem, hybrid, cloud)
Log analysis and reporting
Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Email Security Appliance (ESA)
Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF)
Experience with Data Classification tools
Basic understanding of firewalls and network security concepts
SIEM integration and log correlation
Experience & Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in information security, with strong focus on Proxy, DLP and Data classification technologies
Relevant certifications (Forcepoint, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent) are a plus
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Work Environment
Enterprise or large-scale security environment
On-call or shift support may be required based on business needs
Education Qualification :: BE/B.Tech / Engineering background only

Skills Required
- 5-8+ years of experience in information security, focused on proxy, DLP, and data classification technologies
- Advanced administration and troubleshooting of Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway Proxy
- Forcepoint DLP policy creation, fingerprinting, endpoint/network DLP, and incident workflows
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, NTLM, Kerberos, and SAML
- Experience with data classification and compliance frameworks including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and ISO 27001
- Experience with on-premises, hybrid, and cloud proxy deployment models
- BE, B.Tech, or engineering background
- Forcepoint, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent certification
- Experience with Email Security Appliance
- Experience with Web Application Firewall
- Experience with data classification tools
