Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 production support, administration, and monitoring for Apache Cassandra environments.
- Design, implement, and manage multi–data center NoSQL clusters to ensure resiliency and business continuity.
- Develop and maintain backup and restore strategies
- Manage and monitor Cassandra OpsCenter and OpsManager servers for performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive health checks.
- Leverage observability and monitoring tools such as OpsCenter and OpsManager to ensure system reliability and visibility.
- Automate routine operational tasks using Shell scripting and Ansible.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior team members.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise change management, incident management, and compliance processes using tools like ServiceNow.
