Position Summary:
The Outsourcing Process Lead is responsible for managing and improving outsourcing operations that support Engineering Services and related functions. This role ensures efficient vendor management, accurate workforce tracking, compliance with corporate policies, and effective coordination across multiple business units. The position plays a key role in cost control, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete outsourcing request process, including classification, approval routing, and coordination with Engineering Services and relevant stakeholders.
- Manage high-volume RRS entries and support pass-through and service center purchase requests.
- Participate in sourcing meetings to evaluate supplier cost proposals and support award recommendations.
- Conduct regular supplier meetings to review performance, resolve issues, and align on strategy.
- Maintain external workforce data, including headcount reports, contractor lists, and supporting dashboards.
- Coordinate onboarding, identity access, IT support, and travel for external resources.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly headcount reporting, FTE Curve updates, and labor cost tracking.
- Support quarterly and annual reviews, including supplier scorecards, business reviews, and PO renewals.
- Monitor vendor costs, overtime usage, and labor accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage WBS pass-through funding and collaborate with Finance to ensure budget alignment.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline outsourcing processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with corporate outsourcing policies, legal guidelines, and region-specific requirements.
- Provide leadership with summaries, insights, and recommendations that support workforce and vendor strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional relevant work experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience in outsourcing, vendor management, workforce planning, or related operational roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost and workforce data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proficiency with tracking systems, reporting tools, and documentation management
- Understanding of outsourcing compliance, supplier governance, and labor guidelines
