POSITION SUMMARY:
The Logistics Analyst supports Stoneridge’s logistics operations by managing freight payment and audits, ensuring policy compliance, and assisting sites and suppliers. This role uses data analysis to optimize routing, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to daily operations and strategic projects.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Freight Pay & Audit:
- Conduct an audit of freight invoices prior to processing payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Address and resolve any disputes related to invoicing promptly.
- Collaborate with outside Freight Pay & Audit supplier to ensure timely vendor payments.
- Logistics Operations Support:
- Provide guidance to Stoneridge sites and suppliers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Support day-to-day logistics operations and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Word to create detailed reports, presentations, and essential documentation.
- Collect, organize and analyze data to support larger projects, ensuring it aligns with the project’s scope.
- Cost Savings & Strategic Support:
- Assist the Manager in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and support action plans to achieve these savings.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
