Role OverviewThe North America GEO Lead is a critical executive leader for the North American region. This role is designed for a visionary who can bridge the gap between "what’s next" in AI technology and "what works now" for the world's most sophisticated brands.
You will spend half of your time as a Product Architect, evolving our proprietary GEO tech stack and methodologies. The other half will be spent as an Executive Consultant, acting as a trusted advisor to our most strategically important NA clients, ensuring GEO is embedded as a mission-critical pillar of their growth.
Key Responsibilities50% Product & Capability Development
North American GEO Strategy: Define the regional roadmap for GEO, ensuring Jellyfish remains the market leader in navigating AI-mediated discovery (LLMs, SearchGPT, Perplexity).
Proprietary Tech Evolution: Act as the primary stakeholder for the development of ShareofModel™ and other technology solutions in NA, ensuring these tools solve specific regional client challenges.
Methodology Innovation: Develop and standardize "Generative Engine Optimisation" frameworks in collaboration with the global lead, moving beyond keywords to entity reinforcement and citation frequency optimization.
Capability Scaling: Design the training and operational workflows that allow GEO to be deployed across the wider One Media team, ensuring technical excellence is scalable.
Pencil Pro Integration: Partner with Creative teams to close the loop between GEO insights and GenAI content production, creating a seamless "Insight-to-Activation" workflow.
50% Client Stewardship & Leadership (The Consultant)
Tier 1 Client Leadership: Serve as the senior GEO lead for Jellyfish’s most significant North American accounts, translating complex AI shifts into board-level business strategies.
Commercial Growth: Own the GEO revenue targets for NA; identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and lead the GEO narrative in high-profile new business pitches.
Strategic Consulting: Move clients from "AI curiosity" to "AI maturity," helping CMOs navigate the transition from traditional search to an ecosystem where AI agents influence the purchase funnel.
Executive Thought Leadership: Act as the face of GEO for Jellyfish in North America, appearing at industry events and authoring white papers that challenge the status quo of search.
Senior Mentorship: Direct and coach a high-performing team of specialists, fostering a culture of "Real & Rigorous" analysis and frontier-thinking.
Hybrid Expertise: Deep technical understanding of Knowledge Graphs, LLM training data, and NLP, paired with the commercial gravitas of a seasoned agency executive.
Agentic Visionary: You are already building strategies for a future where "Agentic" behavior—AI agents shopping on behalf of humans—is the norm.
The Connector Mindset: The ability to see a citation gap in a ShareofModel™ report and immediately identify which One Media or Creative service is required to bridge it.
North American Market Fluency: Deep understanding of the NA media landscape, retail media networks (Amazon, Walmart Connect), and how AI search intersects with them.
Real & Rigorous: We lead with data. Every client recommendation must be rooted in measurable signals from our proprietary AI toolset.
Free-Thinking: You don't wait for a Google algorithm update to react; you anticipate the shift in how models think and adapt our products accordingly.
All Authors: You own the NA GEO P&L and the success of the capability as if it were your own business.
One Bloom: Radical collaboration across SEO, Paid Media, Data, and Creative to deliver a unified "One Media" vision.
