Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
As the Nordics Quality Manager you will be responsible for ensuring Quality performance with a continuous improvement approach, for all activities within the Nordics perimeter, which involves Finland, Baltics, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our office in Pikkala our plant in Finland.
Key challenges for this role:
Monitoring the Quality performance through: A) Follow-up and analysis of KPIs (Claims, Internal NC / COPQ, Supplier NC; B) implementation of improvement projects (A3 and/or LSS projects); C) benchmark and communication between Quality local team
Participating, in collaboration with QHSE Management System manager, on the definition of the Country Management System: A)Determining Quality goals and targets, in alignment with Europe Quality; B) Implementing / reviewing national procedures & instructions
Implementing and/or following Quality projects at cluster or local level (projects on Quality Management, projects to reduce Quality risks, …)
Participating in and organizing Quality training / awareness of local teams (Quality and other functions)
Performing Quality internal audits (System Management audits, Process audits) and supplier audits in coordination with the Europe Quality Leaders of each Business Segment (participate as a topic leader for Europe on these aspects)
Participating in relationships management with internal/external stakeholders (Group, Customers, Third Parties, …), from contract engagement to the management of claims.
Providing support at early stages during tenders and contracts, ensuring that Quality requirements from customers align with he factories capabilities within the perimeter.
Setting up the Nordics Quality strategy in alignment with Europe Quality and the Business segment leaders, acting as a key driver for Quality in business and operations within the perimeter.
Skills and competencies:
Solid experience in industrial environment with minimum 5 years in Quality managerial roles.
Advanced knowledge and experience in the use of tools for root cause analysis and problem solving (A3, 5 Why’s, Ishikawa, LSS approach,…)
Strong knowledge of Quality management systems under international standards: ISO 9001; additional standards ISO 45001 and 14001 are an advantage.
Knowledge on SAP QM (Quality Management) desirable
Good knowledge in project management
Ability to promote and drive changes:
Good communication & team working skills. Ability to discuss with and convince both operators and managers
Ability to identify potential problems, either technical or procedural, propose solutions and involve other colleagues in developing these solutions when necessary.
Ability of analysis and synthesis
Accuracy and proactiveness.
Availability and sense of emergency
Management of cross-functional teams and multicultural relations.
Preferably with Engineering/Master degree
Fluent in English
