We are looking for a highly self-motivated and technically proficient Project Manager. This role focuses on project management of strategic continuous improvement projects within the Reverse Value Chain (RVC) and Applied Global Services (AGS) segment. This person will engage cross-functionally, identify areas of improvement, and develop and execute projects to support improved efficiency within the RVC. Like the functional teams we work with, our core team members reside in multiple regions around the globe while maintaining a close-knit working business relationship with each other.
Role will be located on-site at Applied Materials' offices in Taoyuan City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance using data-driven Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Identify and investigate root cause issues impacting the network
- Develop plans and work with global teams to implement process change
- Manage projects to drive network optimization and in support of critical business needs
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline
- GPA requirements 3.0 or above (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma and Project Management certifications (preferred)
Functional Knowledge
- Very proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and advanced search functions
- Very proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in Tableau, MS Power BI
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
Business Expertise
- 0-1 years of project management experience, preferably in a process improvement role with large-scale global projects
- Prior experience working in global logistics or supply chain for a large organization (preferred)
- Exceptional prioritization and organization skills
- Experience with statistics, process control, data analytics, and documenting processes
Leadership
- No direct supervisory responsibilities
- Experience working with diverse/global teams
- Self-motivated in working towards outcomes using a proactive “get things done” approach
- Ability to lead without authority, operate within matrix-managed organizations with cross-functional team members
Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with senior leadership
