Role Summary
We're seeking an experienced Node.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Node.js development, experience with modern web development frameworks and technologies, and a passion for building scalable, efficient, and high-quality software applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient Node.js applications.
2. Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and other relevant frameworks.
3. API Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
4. Database Integration: Integrate Node.js applications with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure coding best practices are followed.
6. Collaboration and Code Review: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
1. Proficient in Node.js and JavaScript.
2. Experience with modern web development frameworks such as Express.js, Koa.js, and Hapi.
3. Familiarity with database management systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
4. Experience with API design and development.
5. Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai.
6. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Preferred skill:
1. Certifications: Certified Node.js Developer or Certified JavaScript Developer.
2. Experience with Other Technologies: Familiarity with other technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
