Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Systems Engineer with experience in Systems Administration and Systems Engineering. This opportunity is a 12-month+ contract opportunity that is fully onsite in Long Beach, CA. The selected candidate will join a team managing and supporting several hundred servers, 99% virtual, to assist the Network Operations Center with its daily duties of managing, supporting and administering the network and systems infrastructure.
What You’ll Do

Active Directory administration (On prem / Azure AD, AD Trusts, ADCS group policy creation and support)
-
Experience with Cisco UCS Converged/Hyperconverged Infrastructure managed by Intersight
-
Day to day Windows Systems Administration - Configure, troubleshoot and resolve issues
-
Build and implement Windows Servers
-
Mimecast email security administration and Exchange administration
-
Microsoft M365/O365/Purview administration
-
Administer Veeam Backup and Recovery
-
Microsoft SQL server administration, high availability and cluster management (NOC focused)
-
VMware administration and Azure cloud services support
-
Patch management (Windows, Linux, and windows APPS)
-
Business application and server incident management (Monitor / Break Fix)
-
Support and implement disaster recovery processes, workflows and systems
-
Migrate from Windows Server 2008/2012 to Windows Server 2022/2025

Experience with Pure Storage SAN systems
-
Participate in deployments, upgrades, and documentation

Data Center work – Racking, Installation, Configurations, Cable Management, UPS/PDU, Monitoring
What You’ll Need
Required:
-
4+ years of experience in Systems Administration and Systems Engineering
-
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

Cisco UCS experience
-
MDM experience with Intune, Kandji
-
Experience using PowerShell, ability to write and customized scripts
-
Experience with Systems Center Operations Manger (SCOM)
-
Experience with Systems Center Configuration Manger (SCCM)
-
Experience writing technical documentation
-
Web services – Experience in IIS, Tomcat, WordPress
-
NAC – Experience with Network Access Control technologies
Desired:

Microsoft Certification: Role based Fundamentals, Associate or Expert, MCSE, MCSD, MCSA

ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation

Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)

VMware Certification: VCTA, VCP, VCAP, or VCDX

Pure Storage: Associate or Professional
