NOC, System Engineer

What you’ll be doing …
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and perform level 1 troubleshooting.
- Configure and manage different monitoring tools.
- Develop and implement automation solutions.
- Windows patching and Vulnerabilities remediation.
- Working on Automation of tools and other daily activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and Active Directory access.
- Provide analysis and insights to various teams.
- Create, operationalize, and manage NOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including quarterly reviews and adjustments.
- Perform system health checks and maintain related reports and communications.
- Actively participate in stand-up meetings, conference calls, bridge/incident calls, documentation, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) preparation.
- Execute corrective actions identified during post-incident reviews and RCA.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks as part of NOC.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, issue tracking in Jira, and configure various workflows.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate issues outside of defined SOPs.
- Extensive experience in infrastructure, Application, and network monitoring.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Experience with diagnostic and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Dotcom-Monitor, Datadog, Nagios, Prometheus, etc.
- Flexibility to provide on-call support during weekends if required and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers L1 issues.
- Experience with Windows server patching tools such as Ivanti, Endpoint Central, etc.
- Experience leveraging agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Ban) to manage project work.
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience and familiarity with Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with the healthcare/health insurance industry.
- Familiarity with service desk platforms (e.g., JIRA, Remedy, ServiceNow).
- Experience working closely with technical teams (e.g., developers, sys admins, DBAs, infra teams).
- Ability to review vulnerability reports and prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation based on severity/impact.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, etc.
- Highly collaborative attitude.
- Low ego and a team player.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-900, ITIL, CCNA, Datadog, SolarWinds).
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Mandatory Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
