Job DescriptionAs Infrastructure Operations Manager you will be:
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
Ensure the security of the infrastructure, implementing and maintaining security controls and policies
Testing, troubleshooting and modifying information systems so they operate effectively.
Maintain and improve continuous integration infrastructure and services (build, test and
package pipelines)
Oversee & execute deployment of OS patches & major software releases
Manage 24x7 monitoring team
Build and develop a high-performing team of operations engineers. Foster operational maturity through training, performance management, and close collaboration with Engineering, SRE, DevOps, and Product teams.
Solving complex and diverse problems by continually re-evaluating new and/or conflicting factors
Define and uphold standards for incident SLAs, escalation processes, runbooks, and playbooks, while ensuring continuous shift coverage, smooth handoffs, and comprehensive KPI reporting on system health and incident trends.
Required Skills:
Required Qualifications- B.E/B.Tech
6-10 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations roles
2+ years in a people management or team leadership role.
Handson experience with mainline programming & scripting languages such as Python or java
Strong technical understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure monitoring, and Infrastructure operations practices.
Handson experience working with tools like Jenkins, Dockers, Ansible,kuberanetes, Git, CI/CD , Influx, Grafana
Prior experience supporting high-availability SaaS or telecommunications systems is a strong plus.
