Role Overview:
We are looking for an L3 NOC Engineer – Network & Voice with strong expertise in Cisco
networking, firewalls, and VoIP technologies. The role involves advanced troubleshooting,
managing network and voice infrastructure, implementing upgrades and optimizations, handling
critical escalations, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and RCA for network, firewall, and voice issues.
• Configure and manage Cisco routing, switching (including Nexus), and firewall solutions.
• Manage and optimize Cisco firewall and Check Point firewall policies and security.
• Handle SIP routing, voice call flows, and integration with Cisco voice platforms.
• Implement network, firewall, and voice changes, upgrades, and optimizations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across network and voice
environments.
• Guide L2 engineers and handle escalations.
Technical Expertise:
• Strong expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and Cisco Nexus (data center switching).
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.) and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco firewall and Check Point firewall configuration and
troubleshooting.
• Strong experience in Cisco Voice / VoIP technologies (SIP, CUCM, gateways, SIP routers).
• Knowledge of NAT, VPN, security policies, and voice traffic optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network, firewall, and voice issues end-to-end.
Certifications (Preferred):
• CCNP (Enterprise / Security / Collaboration)
• CCNA (mandatory baseline)
• Check Point CCSA / CCSE
• Cisco Security / Collaboration certifications (added advantage)
Skills Required
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and Cisco Nexus
- Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, QoS, and other routing protocols
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Check Point firewalls
- Strong experience with Cisco Voice and VoIP technologies, including SIP, CUCM, gateways, and SIP routers
- Knowledge of NAT, VPN, security policies, and voice traffic optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network, firewall, and voice issues end-to-end
- CCNA certification
