Provide specialized care for livestock and operate farm machinery to support daily production and animal welfare. Perform routine equipment maintenance and follow animal health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.

Main Duties- Feed, water, and monitor livestock, ensuring appropriate nutrition and comfort levels.
- Observe animals for signs of illness or injury and assist with basic health treatments and record observations.
- Assist with breeding, birthing and neonatal care as required by the operation.
- Operate, inspect and perform routine maintenance on tractors, harvesters and other farm machinery.
- Clean, disinfect and maintain animal housing, pens and associated facilities to meet biosecurity standards.
- Load, unload and move animals and supplies safely, and maintain accurate production and health records.
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant practical experience in agriculture.
- Previous experience working with livestock and familiarity with standard husbandry practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain common farm machinery and perform basic mechanical tasks.
- Physically capable of performing manual labour outdoors, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of animal health indicators and ability to follow treatment plans and biosecurity protocols.
- Strong attention to safety, ability to follow written procedures and work effectively within a team.
