Coordinate and supervise nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Provide clinical leadership, staffing oversight, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Main Duties- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing personnel, including assignments, workflow and shift handovers.
- Monitor patient care delivery and clinical outcomes to ensure adherence to protocols, safety standards and best practices.
- Develop, implement and review nursing care plans, policies and clinical guidelines in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, shift coverage and resource allocation to maintain appropriate patient-to-staff ratios.
- Provide orientation, mentorship, ongoing training and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
- Liaise with physicians, allied health professionals, patients and families to facilitate continuity of care and address concerns.
- Degree or diploma in nursing from an accredited program.
- Current registration or licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Canadian province or territory.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership, charge, or supervisory role.
- Working knowledge of clinical protocols, patient safety practices and healthcare regulations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in the language(s) required by the workplace.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
