OverviewThe Information Systems area is responsible for assessment, design, acquisition, implementation and use/enhancement of programming and systems analysis tools for the management and transformation of data into information for decisionmakers.ResponsibilitiesPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:

- You may be called on to consult for other projects
- Develop, deploy, and maintains highly available management and monitoring solutions in support of Network Operations and TNS business units
- Vendor assessment and recommendations
- Provide guidance to other team members, FRcilities processes and transfer knowledge of technical skills
- For this contract role, we anticipate paying $75 - $100 per hour. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
Qualifications:
- B.S. (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. MS preferred.
- 7+ years of design and operations experience of large scale NMS platform deployments
- 3+ years of experience and expert in managing Network Monitoring and Management platforms
- 3+ years of extensive hands-on experience with the configuration, debugging, and problem resolution of complex NMS platforms
- Certified in applicable NMS platform technologies
Optional Desired Qualifications:
- TCP/IP
- Multicast
- Netflow
- UNIX/Linux Experience
- Traffic Generator Experience
- Project Management Experience
- PERL programming and XML based management experience
- SQL or other Databases
Education and Certifications:
- B.S. (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. MS preferred.
