PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB
Mission & Main Objectives
To support the introduction and sales of Nissan vehicles in Middle East markets by continuously monitoring regulatory requirements and industry trends, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all applicable homologation and certification requirements in a timely manner.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Gather information from authorities, Technical Committee, related body & OEMs. Trend report preparation and correspondence to HQ.
- Negotiation with ME regulation authorities for Nissan’s business interest. Communicate with the related department within Nissan regional & Global
- Response for inquiry from NML, dealing with external partners & test laboratories to support certification testing.
- GCC COC delivery planning against SOP timeline for Nissan & Infiniti models.

- Reg & Hom on time Completion as per NML SOP plan.
- Safety, Emission, fuel economy, NCAP and other regulation's situation and interpretation.

Specific technical skills
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering
- Min 4-6 years Automotive PV Homologation, Regulation experience.
- Prior experience with GSO / SASO processes (preferred)
- Prior experience with EU/ASIAN/GCC regulation agencies mandatory.
- Experience over regulation standards formation OR interpretation.
- Strong information coordination and follow-up capability until closure.
- Familiar with GSO, SASO regulatory and certification workflows Implementation
- Technical Reporting/Writing
- UAE License - Preferred
