Job Summary
AX9 Security is looking for a reliable and dependable Security Officer to join our team at a school location in Hoboken, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors while providing a professional and friendly presence throughout the school.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:30 PM
Location: Hoboken, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Monitor school entrances and exits during school hours.
- Verify visitor identification and enforce access control procedures.
- Conduct routine patrols of the school campus and grounds.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns.
- Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and parents.
- Report suspicious activity and complete detailed incident reports.
- Work closely with school administration and local law enforcement when necessary.
- Assist with arrival, dismissal, and special school events.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Valid Security Officer License
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR/AED certification is a plus.
