Jeff Wyler Nissan of Fairfield is seeking an experienced, high-energy Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team to new levels of success. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and understands how to maximize profitability while developing a championship culture.

As one of the region's premier automotive dealerships, we are looking for someone who leads from the front, inspires accountability, embraces innovation, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional buying experience for every customer.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to consistently exceed sales and profitability goals.
  • Manage daily sales operations, including desking deals, inventory management, customer interactions, and sales processes.
  • Monitor dealership performance metrics and implement strategies to maximize volume, gross profit, F&I opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and develop top sales talent.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings, performance coaching, and ongoing product and process training.
  • Ensure every customer receives a world-class buying experience from first contact through delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Service, and Executive Leadership to achieve dealership objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, inventory levels, and competitive activity to optimize pricing and sales strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and state and federal regulations.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture built on integrity and excellence.

QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful automotive sales management experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and profitability goals.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • Deep understanding of dealership operations, inventory management, and sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic business decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Nissan experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with VinSolutions, Dealertrack, vAuto, and CDK or similar dealership management systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital retailing, CRM management, and lead conversion strategies.
  • Proven ability to recruit and retain top-performing sales professionals.
